Hammonds Named Dean of Harvard College Evelynn Hammonds, the University's Senior Vice Provost for Faculty Development and Diversity and the Barbara Gutmann Rosenkrantz Professor of the History of Science and of African and African American Studies in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, has been appointed Dean of Harvard College. It was important that the College dean exercise broad oversight of the undergraduate curriculum in addition to overseeing the College more broadly, and she will do this work superbly. |
Charisse Lillie Made EVP of the Comcast Foundation Comcast Corporation appointed Charisse Lillie Vice President of Community Investment and Executive Vice President of the Comcast Foundation. Charisse, who holds an LL.M. from Yale Law School, had been Vice President of Human Resources at Comcast. In her new role, Lillie will assume overall leadership of Comcast’s community investment program, including corporate and Foundation charitable giving and all of Comcast’s national community partnerships with organizations such as United Way, City Year, the National Urban League, National Council of La Raza and Big Brothers Big Sisters. |
