What were your high school career goals?
My career goals were to become a Clinical Psychologist and a Concert Pianist.

Who was your greatest affluence between ages 13 - 19 years of age?
My mother and father were my greatest influence.

What was your "AHA" moment?
My AHA moment happened when I decided to run for the City Council seat, Group 5, At
Large. When people were telling me that it would be a million to one for me to win the
race, doors were closed, and obstacles were placed before me. When you call on the
name of Jesus, things begin to happen. God opened doors that He wanted me to enter.
I trusted and obeyed Him as He led me through the path to victory.

I believe that God have a purpose for me to serve His people by doing the right thing.
There are people still at awe about how I won this race, but I always say, "This is the
life God destined for me to live - to serve his people."
A native of Jacksonville and member of the Cathedral of Deliverance Church, Glorious
taught many years in the Duval County School System. This was a fantastic opportunity
for her to help the children in her community to learn and grow. When she finished
teaching, she received a very treasured award: an Honorary Life Membership from the
Florida Parent/Teacher Association.
What was your childhood like growing up in your neighborhood,
and who was your best friend?
My neighborhood was very close knited. Everyone knew one another and
the adults looked out for the children. Many of our neighbors were our
teachers. My best friend was then and still is, my mother.
